Linda Allen, PT Linda earned her AA in Pre-Physical Therapy at St. Benedict’s College and her BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 1976. She joined SJA in November 1991. Linda has also worked at the Mayo Clinic, Hiawatha Children’s Home and for the Rochester Public Schools. Her primary interest is in pediatric physical therapy and she has a special interest in adapted aquatics. Linda has been an American Red Cross Aquatics volunteer instructor for 40 years. She and her husband, Craig, have three sons, a daughter in law and 2 grandchildren. Her outside interests include sports, trips up north to the cabin, Curves workouts, and sewing. Marilyn received her bachelors degree from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL, and Masters from Eastern IL University. She has worked in Illinois, Iowa, Montana, Kansas, and Minnesota as a speech language pathologist. Marilyn is a certified Hanen Center instructor, and has also worked in the public schools for 15 years. She has been at Stanley Jones & Associates, Inc. since 1997, and enjoys working with pediatric clients of different ages. Marilyn’s hobbies include reading (mysteries), gardening, baking, and refinishing woodwork.
Wendy C. Dennison, MST, CCC-SLP
Wendy graduated with a BS in Communicative Disorders/Secondary Education in 1978 and a Master in Communicative Disorders in 1994 from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. She joined SJA in 2004 after working in local school districts for 26 years. Wendy’s specialty is working with school-aged children with developmental language delays and autism but she enjoys all challenges. Her outside interests include cooking, volunteering and spending time with her husband Kerry, son Neil and cat Nell.
Mary Dutton, PT
Mary graduated from the Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences with a PT degree in 1983. She joined SJA in 1996 after working in many local skilled nursing facilities. Mary’s primary interest is geriatric rehabilitation in the homecare setting. Her outside interests include rollerblading, volleyball, watching her children’s sporting events and socializing with family and friends.
Kelly Ellavsky, PT
Kelly earned a BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Minnesota in 1999 and a Master of Physical Therapy from the Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences in 2001. She joined SJA in 2001 and has a passion to work with children and adults. She especially likes the team approach of working with students in the school system. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys being with family and friends, playing sports and doing home improvement projects.
Cheryl Endres Cheryl joined SJA in September 2008 as a part-time office assistant. She also works in the Plainview-Elgin-Millville school district as the special education secretary. This is a second career for Cheryl as she previously taught kindergarten and second grade at Plainview Community School for 28 years. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Ann Gastineau, PT
Ann received a BA from Carleton College and a PT degree from Northwestern University. She has worked at SJA since 1988. Her primary interest is pediatric physical therapy, and she has many years of experience as a school physical therapist. Her outside interests include sewing, singing, reading, hiking, weaving and needlework.
Krissy Gillard, OTR
Krissy earned a BS in Occupational Science in 2003 and a MA in Occupational Therapy in 2005 from the College of Saint Catherine. She joined SJA in August 2005. Krissy works primarily with children providing holistic and client-centered services but enjoys working with adults in the rehabilitation and mental health setting also. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing piano and watching the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Chris Hollman, OTR/L
Christine obtained a B.S. in occupational therapy in 1989 from UW-Madison. She has served patients in a variety of settings including child and adolescent psychiatric programs; schools; outpatient pediatrics and birth to 3. Chris can not stay away from Stanley Jones, she worked here shortly after moving to Rochester in 2003 and returned in 2007. Chris enjoys spending time with her family. She also is a huge Packer fan. GO Pack GO!
Sara Karpman, SLP Sara received her BA in Spanish in 2004 and her MHS in Communication Science and Disorders in 2006 from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She comes to SJA following 2 years of experience with Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO where she worked with children and adults with various speech-language disorders, swallowing/feeding disorders, Autism, developmental delay, cleft lip/palate, reading disorders and apraxia of speech. Her interests include reading intervention, pediatric speech-language disorders, and feeding/swallowing disorders in adults and children. In her free time, Sara enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with family
Melissa Kalisvaart, PT Melissa Kalisvaart graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Southern California in 2005. She continued at USC to earn her degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2008. She joined SJA in 2009 and loves working with both children and adults. She has experience in a wide variety of settings and has a passion for manual therapy and pediatrics. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their puggle, Amos, traveling, and watching USC football
Ronda Lovelace, MS, CCC-SLP
Ronda received a BA in Communicative Disorders and Psychology in 1989 from the University of Minnesota and a MS in Speech-Language Pathology in 1991 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She joined SJA in 2000. Her professional interests are autism and preschool language. Her outside interests include teaching piano and photography.
Lynne McCutcheon, PT
Lynne earned a BA in Biology from Thiel College and a PT degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1969. She joined SJA in 1986, serves as vice president and is a co-owner of the company. Her main interest is pediatrics and she is very involved in the RideAbility Program (horseback riding for children and adults with special needs). She and her husband, Greg, have three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting her three granddaughters, basket weaving, volunteering and playing bridge.
Patrice Mrdjenovich-Hanks, BS Pat graduated with a BS in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1979. She has been with SJA since July of 1994 and has enjoyed every minute of being a part of such a dedicated and professional team! She is a co-owner of the company as well as the president. Prior to working at SJA, Pat was an assistant director and interim director of a non-profit organization for 13 years. Although Pat is from Wisconsin (and still a Packer fan) she and her husband Darrel moved from Grand Forks, ND in 1981. They have been married for almost 30 years and have two wonderful children. Pat enjoys spending time with her family, music, books, boating, the outdoors, and her pets.
Nancy Nelson, OTR
Nancy graduated with a BA in Occupational Therapy in 1989 from the College of Saint Catherine. She works for the Rochester Public Schools, with all age levels for SJA and fills in at many local skilled nursing facilities. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Cindy Olson earned a degree in accounting and has been the office manager at SJA since May 1991. During her free time she enjoys camping and boating.
Marilyn Pike, PT Marilyn earned a BA from Kansas State University and a certificate in Physical Therapy from the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences in 1967. She was certified as a Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga instructor in 2009. Marilyn’s main interests are acute care, geriatrics, orthopedics, and manual therapy. Her outside interests include spending time with her family and friends, gardening, bicycling, going for long walks, and reading.
Debra Pletta, BSN/PHN
Debra graduated with a BS in Nursing in 1980 from Loyola University in Chicago. She has been with SJA since 1991 and is secretary-treasurer and a co-owner of the company. Prior to working at SJA, she worked at Mayo in neurosurgery intensive care, inpatient rehabilitation and as a flight nurse. In her spare time, she enjoys gourmet cooking, watching soccer, gardening and reading.
Cathy Reiter, OTR
Cathy attended the University of Minnesota, obtaining her BS in Occupational Therapy in 1981. She has been an employee of SJA since the company began in 1984. Cathy has enjoyed working in all settings – schools, homes, worksites and day activity programs. She currently works as an SJA contract therapist providing services for the Zumbro Education District in the Byron and Stewartville schools. Outside of work, Cathy tries to keep up with her busy family.
Susan Schmidt, MS, CCC-SLP
Susan earned a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She worked at a hospital in Taiwan for three years prior to joining SJA in June 2005. She works primarily with adults with speech and language needs. Some of her favorite things to do are traveling, watching movies, picnicking, taking walks and practicing photography.
Kathy Smith, MS, CCC-SLP
Kathy received her BS in Secondary Education/Communication Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and her MS in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1998. Prior to joining SJA in 2005 Kathy worked in the public school systems in southeastern Minnesota. She works with children in our outpatient rehabilitation clinic and is our contract therapist for the Zumbro Education District Birth to Three program, seeing infants and toddlers in their homes. In her spare time Kathy enjoys spending time with her family, scrap booking, camping and snowmobiling.
Jill Squier,
Jill Squier joined Stanley Jones & Associates in 2007. She was previously employed by the Post Bulletin in Rochester, MN and Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. In her free time she enjoys traveling and movies.
Larry Stacy, MA, CCC-SLP Larry Stacy received his BA and his MA from the University of Northern Iowa. He has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1975, and has been with SJA since March of 1988. He retired from the Stewartville Public Schools after 34 years of teaching, in January 2009. Still working part-time with SJA, Larry currently works with young children, adolescents, and adults. Larry enjoys reading, camping, storytelling, singing and writing creative thinking exercises.
Tricia Steckelberg, OTR
Tricia Steckelberg obtained a BA in Health Sciences in 1999 and a MA in Occupational Therapy from St. Scholastica in 2000. She began her career at the Mayo Clinic serving clients of all ages in the acute care and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Since joining SJA in January 2004, she has worked primarily with children in the school setting, but also sees clients in their homes and in our outpatient rehabilitation setting. Besides working, she enjoys sports and spending time with her family.
Kathy Tanabe, PT
Kathy Tanabe graduated with a BS and Certificate of Physical Therapy in 1970 from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. Kathy has been an employee of SJA since 1987, except for three years spent living in Japan. She specializes in pediatrics but also works with adults occasionally in three service areas at SJA: homecare, outpatient rehabilitation and contracts with schools. She enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, theater and movies.

Michele Tonn, OTR/L Michele Tonn obtained a BA in Health Sciences in 1998 and a MA in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in 1999. She began her career at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado before returning to Minnesota to work for the Mayo Clinic. Michele's primary emphasis was on brain injury serving clients of all ages in the acute care and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Michele comes to us with experience in Traumatic Brain Injury, spinal cord injury for pediatrics and adults. She also has training in Neurodevelopmental (NDT) techniques, Brain Gym, pediatric kinesiotaping, and dsyphagia. Michele is a SAEBO trained therapist and has experience as clinical education coordinator. Since joining SJA in August 2007, she has worked primarily as the rehabilitation case manager and with children in our outpatient rehabilitation setting. Besides working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Mikki Tuma, MA, CCC-SLP
Mikki Tuma received a degree in communication disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and then completed her Master of Communication Disorders in 1997 from the University of Minnesota. After working as a speech-language pathologist for the Rochester Public Schools, Mikki joined SJA in December 2002, so she could work in the evenings and spend time with her children during the day. Mikki has enjoyed working with children of all ages, and has had extensive experience with preschool children with autism. Besides loving to spend time with her family and her speech clients, Mikki likes running, baking, stamping and being in the outdoors.
Chris Walters-Smith, PT
Chris Walters-Smith graduated with a BA in Biology in 1994 and a Master of Physical Therapy in 1996 from the University of Iowa. He has been with SJA since 1997, with his primary interest being in geriatric rehabilitation. His hobbies include politics, reading, spending time outdoors with his family, and cheering for the Chicago Cubs.
Kristi Wooden Kristi graduated with a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2003
and with a MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2005. She received
both degrees from the University of Minnesota Duluth. After working for the
Anoka-Hennepin School District she relocated to Rochester and joined the SJA
team in August of 2006. Kristi enjoys working out, reading, stained glass
and spending time with her family, friends and dog, Luigi.
Carol Youdas, PT
Carol Youdas received a BA in Biology from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She began working as an on-call physical therapist for SJA in February 1998. Before joining SJA she worked in a variety of settings. Now her primary interest is in adult and geriatric homecare therapy. Outside of work she enjoys hiking with her husband and two golden retrievers, keeping in touch with her two adult children, home decorating, gardening, biking and church work.
Daniela Ziemer Dani graduated from GTAW- vocational school for OT in Rimpar, Germany in July 2001. She became licensed and certified in MN in 2004. She worked in several nursing homes in the Rochester area and gathered Homecare experience before joining the SJA team in September 2007. Dani enjoys our pediatric clients. Her outside interests include her horse, dog and cat, outdoor activities, traveling (especially back to Germany to visit family and friends), and spending time with her boyfriend and friends.

Jeremy Braun graduated with a BA in communication disorders in 1999 from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. He then received his MA in communication disorders in 2000 from the University of South Dakota. Jeremy comes to Stanley Jones and Associates with six years of experience primarily in pediatrics and some experience with the geriatric population. His clinical interests include autism, apraxia, articulation/phonology, and developmental language disorders. He also enjoys the other challenges of the profession. Outside of work Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing golf, volleyball, basketball, biking, and spending time with friends and family.
